About Me
I am a cardiothoracic radiologist with 30 years of post-residency experience. Dr. Manu Shroff and I were the first to start high-resolution CT scanning in 1991 in Bombay Hospital, with 1 mm thin sections, along with the group from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.
I subsequently did a short fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in 1994 with Dr. Steve Swenson and Dr. Tom Hartman and since then have spent more than 50% of my time with chest imaging.
I believe that showing cases, discussing literature and putting up lectures, is one more way of teaching and disseminating information.
