The hexagonal pattern described the presence of confluent perilobular fibrosis in patients with fibrotic hypersensitivity pneumonitis
This is 65-years old non-smoker with antigenic exposure and findings on the CT suggesting fibrotic hypersensitivity pneumonitis (HP). The case and findings including the triple-density sign are discussed in the video.
More importantly, I discuss a new sign, the "hexagonal pattern" recently described, which we have seen, but hadn't been named so far and represents confluent perilobular fibrosis.
