This week, the ACR has published its appropriateness criteria for diffuse lung disease imaging. CT chest without IV contrast is centre-stage. Earlier this year, the ACR-STR guidelines for HRCT in diffuse lung disease were published. They fall short of the Fleischner Society and ERS-ATS recommendations, but are still worth going through.
